Our Privacy Commitment

PrintCheck is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your check data—including payee names, amounts, dates, and any other financial information—is processed entirely within your web browser. We cannot see, access, or store your check data because it never leaves your device.

Data Collection

What We Do NOT Collect

  • Check data (payee names, amounts, dates, memo fields)
  • Bank account numbers or routing numbers
  • Personal financial information
  • Uploaded CSV files or their contents
  • Signature images

What We May Collect

  • Anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage counts)
  • Template preferences (which templates are selected)
  • Device type and browser information (for compatibility)
  • Error logs (without personal data) for debugging

Client-Side Processing

All check printing functionality operates in your browser using JavaScript. When you enter check data or upload a CSV file, this information is processed locally on your device. PDF generation happens entirely client-side using the jsPDF library. No check data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Third-Party Services

PrintCheck uses the following third-party services:

  • Convex: Stores template configurations and anonymous analytics. No check data is sent to Convex.
  • Vercel: Hosts the application. Standard server logs may include IP addresses and request metadata.

Cookies and Local Storage

We may use local storage in your browser to save your template preferences and offset settings for convenience. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal check data, there is nothing to delete or export. If you have any questions about your data or this privacy policy, please contact us at privacy@printcheck.app.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of PrintCheck after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
