About PrintCheck
PrintCheck is a free check printing utility built for small businesses, nonprofits, and anyone who needs to print checks without expensive software or monthly subscriptions.
We started PrintCheck because we saw a gap in the market. Accounting software charges monthly fees just for check printing. Banks push expensive check orders. And DIY solutions like Word templates are frustrating and error-prone. Small businesses deserve better.
PrintCheck works with the pre-printed check stock you already have from suppliers like Deluxe, Intuit, Sage, and Checks Unlimited. We don't print the entire check—your check stock already has the bank's routing number, your account number, and security features. PrintCheck simply prints the variable data: payee name, amount, date, and memo.

How It Works
PrintCheck runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you enter check data or upload a CSV file, that information is processed locally on your computer. PDF generation happens client-side using the jsPDF library. No check data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.
We store template configurations and anonymous usage analytics (like which templates are popular) on our backend, but your actual check data—payee names, amounts, bank information—never leaves your browser. This architecture lets us offer PrintCheck for free while ensuring your financial data stays private.
